As we approach the crossroads of our 60th birthday and beyond, we begin to appreciate our hidden power as older women. It’s exciting to know that we have more choices than ever before.
Many of us begin to recognize the re-emergence of the wild woman that was always part of us, but has been suppressed and hidden for many years.
Our true self is about to unfold again with opportunities and possibilities as we navigate changes and transitions along with the commitment to be true to ourselves and live life on our own terms.
Audrey Danaher, is a retired registered nurse and the author of Becoming of Age, published in 2022. In her book, Audrey explores women’s experiences in the Third Stage of Life - that period that starts about age 60.
A transformative experience for Audrey was making the transition to writer from registered nurse beginning with her decision to chronicle her journey training for the New York City Marathon in 2014.
Be ready to reconnect with your younger self who believed you could do or be anything.
